A Groves’ week in the Emerald Isle offers the family science professional an opportunity to explore the topic of globalization and family well-being from multiple perspectives--cultural, historic, environmental, spiritual, political, economic, and educational. A study tour format allows us to meet with colleagues, other professionals, and citizens to explore this timely topic in community settings. Staying in fine European hotels, traveling by Mercedes bus, we will be able to journey far and wide across this green land. Registration. The cost of our week is $2,250, due payable to Treasurer Ginny Sibbison at Welfare Research, Inc., 112 State Street, Room 1340, Albany, NY 12207. A deposit of $250 is due now, $1000 by October 1 and the remainder, adjusted for the prevailing Euro rate, by February 1. Insurance may be purchased individually or through our travel company. Contact me at 850- 212-8042 for our travel company rates. Full insurance coverage is guaranteed when insurance fee is paid upon registration.
Call for proposals. Please submit a 500-word abstract for blind review by October 1 with notification of acceptance to be received by November 1.
