Groves Conference on Marriage and Family
FELDMAN AWARD
The Feldman Award, in honor of Harold and Margaret Feldman, both early and
outstanding leaders in the fields of family and policy, is given to an author or authors of
a peer-reviewed journal article or book chapter published within the last 5 years that
makes a significant social policy contribution related to ethnicity and/or gender and that
is also supportive of the theme of the Groves Conference annual meeting. The 2009
conference is from June 7 to 11 in Chapel Hill, NC, home to the first Groves Conference.

iirecttiions iin famiilly sciience..The award consists of a $1,000 honorarium and reimbursement for conference attendance
expenses (travel, hotel, meals, etc.) up to an additional $1,000. The award
winner(s) must be able to attend the conference and present their work.
The preferred mode of nomination is e-mail. Nominations with the nominated article
attached as a pdf file should be submitted by December 1 to:
