Groves In Ireland 2008

The Impact of Globalization on Ireland's Families: A Positive Model

Groves Conference 2008 took place in Galway, Belfast, & Dublin, Ireland on May 31-June 8, 2008. A Groves’ week in the Emerald Isle offers the family science professional an opportunity to explore the topic of globalization and family well-being from multiple perspectives--cultural, historic, environmental, spiritual, political, economic, and educational. A study tour format allows us to meet with colleagues, other professionals, and citizens to explore this timely topic in community settings. Staying in fine European hotels, traveling by Mercedes bus, we will be able to journey far and wide across this green land.
